OUR THOUGHTS ON MEMBERSHIP AND BAPTISM

Everyone is welcome to attend Hillview - we promise you a warm welcome. If you decide it is a place you would like to attend regularly as part of your Christian worship and service, we would encourage you to think about becoming a member of Hillview. Every Christian needs to be part of a church family so that we can love and care for one another, encourage and pray for each other, serve each other and sometimes warn or correct each other. 

We have a membership booklet that will help you think through what being a member means and would be delighted to discuss that with you, ideally over a meal with others who are also thinking of becoming a member.

We also encourage all Christians to consider baptism. It’s not specifically linked to church membership, but we think it was a very important command of Jesus “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.
