SPECIAL EVENTS

We are committed to providing a range of opportunities for people to hear about what we believe and what we think about key issues. We hold quarterly informal café-style evenings exploring different subjects – recently we’ve covered topics such as the existence of God, hope and selfishness.

We also hold occasional big events with speakers or musicians – in recent times, we’ve hosted Zimbabwean cricketer and activist Henry Olonga (www.henryolonga.net), mountaineers Jo & Rob Gambi (www.robandjogambi.com), and the musicians Jonathan Viera (www.jonathanviera.co.uk) & Stuart Townend (www.stuarttownend.co.uk).

NATIVITY ON A LORRY

During Christmas 2011, we worked together with the other churches in Hucclecote to bring a unique event to the area: a nativity, on a lorry! For two nights we brought the stories, carols and atmosphere of the Christmas story to the local households and gave them something to remember, as well as something to remind them about how central Christ is to Christmas!

We look forward to many more special events run as part of the Hucclecote 'Hub' in the future!
