OUR TEAM

PASTOR / ELDER / GATHER MINISTRY TEAM LEADER

Simon joined the team at Hillview in September 2015 as the Pastor and one of the Elders. He also heads up the GATHER Ministry Team. Previously he had spent 13 years serving at a church in Kent. He is married to Natalie and they have two grown up children. He is passionate about Jesus and football - in that order!

ELDER

As well as serving as an Elder, Stephen is also involved in leading worship. He is married to Sue with three grown up children. Stephen is a keen golfer when he is not working!

ELDER

Steve is an Elder and retired from working full time for Scripture Union at the end of 2021. Steve is also our Elder supporting Safeguarding. He and his wife Judy are foster carers. They have two grown up boys and Steve is passionate about helping children and young people discover Jesus.

ELDER

Rob joined the team as an Elder in 2021. He is married to Claire and they have two grown up boys. He enjoys motorcycling and also spending time with his family. Rob’s desire is to share the promise of peace that comes from knowing Jesus and all that means.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAM LEADER

Liz leads our CHILDREN’S Ministry Team. She is passionate about teaching children the truths of God’s word. Liz and her husband Rob have two children who are now young adults themselves!

YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM LEADER

Jane heads up our YOUTH Ministry Team working in partnership with Chris. She is a charity fundraiser and marketer with a youth work qualification and many years of experience mentoring young people.

DEPUTY YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM LEADER

Chris supports Jane with our YOUTH Ministry. He is a primary school teacher and also shares a passion for teaching and supporting young people in the church community.

FAMILIES MINISTRY TEAM LEADER

Naomi has been employed since April 2022 as our FAMILY WORKER and heads up our ministry to families within the church and local community. Naomi and her husband Mike have 2 children.
