Supporting families locally with care packages of food and household essentials in the school holidays
Early in 2020 we were aware of and saw a real need for families who were struggling with financial insecurity and going without basic necessities. This increased for many families during the school holidays when their children were not receiving regular cooked meals at school. With so many families desperately struggling long before the pandemic hit and many more struggling now, we had a heart to step up to reach and support those in need in our local community.
Referrals to receive boxes are made to us via local schools and professionals working alongside families in the community
GLOUCESTER
FOODBANK
We are working jointly with Gloucester Foodbank and the other local churches in Hucclecote to provide a Foodbank collection hub in Hucclecote every Wednesday from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. The HUB has been open since October 2022.

CAP DEBT HELP
We are thrilled to be one of the partner churches who are contributing towards the Gloucester CAP Debt Centre.
CAP (Christians Against Poverty) are a national charity which partners with churches to deliver life changing, professional debt relief services to those most in need in our nation. Our debt centre is run collaboratively between 6 partner churches in the city and has a vision to expand in the coming years to maximise it's impact and reach more families in deepest need.
