IDEAS FOR SERVING OTHERS AS A FAMILY…

• Get involved in collecting items and donating them to a local Foodbank - through your local supermarket collection bins or at church

• Invite others into your home for a meal and spend time together

• Get involved in Operation Christmas Child

• Support Link To Hope Family or Elderly boxes Shoebox Appeal 2024 - Link To Hope

• Sign up to help with our Box of Hope project at Hillview Church in school holidays throughout the year

• Make a meal or cake for someone in your street, community or church

• Visit someone you know who might be lonely or isolated

• Send a card/letter/pictures to someone who needs support or encouragement

• Make a ‘love package’ and give to someone going through a hard time - think about what they might like and go and buy the bits together. Write a card to encourage them

• Organise a fundraising event or activity to raise support and awareness for a good cause

• Offer to join the welcome team at church to offer welcoming faces of different generations when people arrive

• Help set up or pack away after activities at church - look around and ask if you can help someone stacking chairs or putting tables out etc
